The indoctrinated CSS branch (Civil Suppression Squad) are the Mecha Empires way of letting captured humans serve their new alien overlords in a way fitting of the borg or Strogg. Exept not so clean as the Borg, and not so messy as the Strogg.
But like them their pesky free will has been completely removed.
