It happens -- and more often than you think.

One of the Insurance companies I worked for was sued by an insured client because we refused to cover an 'emotional' claim. As the expert on our print systems, the Legal Department sent me second-generation copies of a fax of the policy in question. Still, I could tell at a glance the forger used the right language but the wrong font. The company counter-sued and had the client charged with fraud. Unfortunately, the client 'fessed up and admitted the forgery, otherwise I would have been flown to California in the wintertime to testify. Darnit!
