Dark actually makes a very good anti-villain. She's just a predator that mostly minds her own business save for the prey she devours, but she also has a sense of honor and obligation. You help her, she will remember.
And I have no doubt she can carry a grudge just as thoroughly. Whoever these dudes are, they're seriously tempting fate trying to chain up a dragon that can rip through steel like it was tissue paper. She ever gets loose, it will be carnage.
