And here Alana shows a slightly different face to when we first saw her. I remember saying that it wasn't clear at that point which way she was inclined, but I certainly can't see her being all bad now. She seems more protective than anything else.

Once I finally get back to working on posting these chapters you'll learn more about who Alana is and why she is the way she is. So I don't want to spoil anything for you. But I will say that she's not a bad person at all. She's one of my favorite characters from the book, too.
