Bunkhar is a working breed, strong and hardy. Resistant to diseases, which is important, and a well-defined pigment is one of the markers of good health. Melanins not only determine the color of the coat, but also absorb ultraviolet rays, thereby protecting the tissues of the deep layers of the skin from radiation damage.
That is why the most desired color in Bunkhar is, of course, solid, but the presence of white spotting is not forbidden. Irish spotting and piebald are acceptable, but extremes are undesirable, and pure white is considered a serious fault.
In addition, in the presence of white markings, a full coloring of the nose and eyelids is required.
The "tie" and white tip of the tail, as well as markings on the legs, are quite common and typical. If the markings are located on the muzzle, then they should not prevail over the main color, and the area around the eyes and ears should be strictly pigmented.

This is a young female of sable color with white markings on the tail and chest. Smart, intelligent, attentive and obedient. An excellent hunter, completely loyal to people and pets, but able to show his teeth when it comes to property and the safety of the owner.
