watercolor. 5.5 x 8.5". used up some leftover paint (PR122 + PG7 + PY110 + PY184).

i'm in love with PG7 x PY184, it's opaqueish and nostalgia ooze/slime colored and really pops under the sad LED +fluorescent lighting of this basement--less so in sunlight imho. these pigments scan remarkably closely to the conditions under which I paint them. or maybe i should check my monitor settings >.>

i worry that these themes are in poor taste in early 2023, but then I remember the events of the 80s which created the glowing slime/ooze trope. metaphors are useful for processing things that are too big to communicate. i've survived, but i have been changed.
