To the west of Elysium, in the middle of the ocean, far from any other land mass, lays the small continent of Uluria. This recently discovered land is characterized by coastal rainforests, grasslands, and high mountains that create a barrier around a massive, central desert. Scholars are only beginning to uncover the ecology of this isolated continent.

The Ulurian Dire Platypus, also known as the Bunyip, is a large, almost 1-ton aquatic predator that prowls the waterways of Uluria's coastal forests. From what little research has been conducted in regard to the ecology of this beast, scholars were able to deduce that it is an ambush predator with a lifestyle similar to that of a crocodile. While primarily piscivorous, the Bunyip will take advantage of any terrestrial animal that's not cautious enough around the edge of the water.
Males of this species have a hooked spur on their hind legs, which seems to be connected to a small venom gland. Both the exact purpose of this spur and the type of venom it injects are unknown at this moment.
