From 2011 to 2022, 11 years I was a lucario, slowly making tweaks and touches through the years to make it my own.
I have touched different designs, done personal touches to species, and made characters.
The culmination of my personal touches got poured into the design here.
This is just the first of the sheets to come.
After so many years this feels more me than anything.
scales? Fur? Tech? Cyborg? Confusion? YES!!!!
I do not know what species this is and I did that intentionally, I live in the unknown.
To make it to where the design is more modular, the arms and below the knees are plug and play. They can be swapped out to different anatomies, styles and degrees of complexity.
Base leg design to hard? You can make something more simple
Have a specific mecha style and you have an idea? swap it out!!
more sheets to come as I want to flesh it out fully this time, even trying to slam my head to learn japanese to have an alt language on it.
Excuse language inaccuracies, might be some funny comments in there I fumbled on lol

The cyborg thing is not something I remember, as most of that is star wars, cannot handle puns, and a lust for bad bois :p Although given how much you like Bowser, *nods* makes sense for you to enjoy thunder thighs.
Besides that, yeah I have a lot more sheets to make. Second sheet I am working on is head details, like my access ports being under those rings on my neck, the fact I have retractable snake like fangs, etc. Probably after that is showing the parts where the limbs are not attached to show what it is like for stuff like maintenance scenes. Probably after that the concept of the limbs being swappable to different mecha limbs of different styles. Then other sheets for stuff like clothes and etc.

Ah, I suppose you do have a point with the "bad bois" thing. Gaia's Easter Bunny is a cyborg bunny that enjoys explosions and wreaking havoc, so, yes, I have a bias. And that bias is "Byronic characters." 😂
Oh, gosh, you have no idea how many times I've gotten "attacked" on Art Fight by people that see the first reference on my fursona's page (anthro & no clothes in the ref image) and nothing else (it seems like that, at least). I guess clothes are for plebs! 😛

It's weird to share this but, I had a dream where I transformed into something that looked similar in figure and color choice to your OC before I saw this post. However in that dream, I got cut-in half and reformed into it. Incapable of verbal speech but telepathic communication worked just fine for whatever reason.
Felt like a premonition dream if I had no idea before. 😅

Given that the mecha I have developed so far has been based on stuff like protogen and that avali cyborg concept I did in the past. I might have only just inspired you to work on something of your own. Little references here and there, smashing them together and designing them out to get something that works.
Sometimes, let that train of creativity carry you. Even if nothing solid comes out of it or it is unfinished, it can be good to reference back to later for future ideas.
Try to visualize that dream design and don't let it discourage you when you cannot seem to draw it right, just get several iterations down, you might end up drawing bits and pieces of it and be able to stitch together what you saw from the many tries.

Probably the older lucario design would be for cameo if a situation ever came up where strictly everything must be a pokemon, but in general yeah this design. It has really grown on me since designing and it kinda makes sense considering the design is a culmination of my personal touches I have done to designs over the years as its own thing. So the design screams me more than any other I have done.
