Hutch and Douglas had been walking for quite some time, "This is stupid Hutch!" Douglas complained. "We have been walking for hours just to meet this asshole who abandoned us!" Hutch looked at his phone at the message they had received, "My sons, it has been some time since we have last scene each other. I wish to see you both again so we may reconnect, please meet me at these coordinates. Sincerely yours, Dad." Hutch then looked over at his brother, "You don't know why he wants to see us; he could need us or maybe he honestly wants to make amends, or maybe even he found mom. We're here, The Vermillion Wastes."

The Vermillion Wastes is the wasteland surrounding the imperial city which was created when the Calamity teleported the city into the void. The wastes are extremely dangerous full of shipwrecks, deserted imperial towns, monsters, demons, storms, and other psychic phenomena. Many treasures can be found in the wastes, however those who go looking almost never come back. However, legend has it that if they do come back, they will either be insane, wealthy, or imbued with power. The imperials have made technology which allows them to navigate the wastes without danger.

They both heard the roar of an engine, Hutch sighed, "Here he is, you can go back if you want, I know you don't want to be here." Douglas scoffed "I'm here for you Hutch, where you go, I go we are brothers." He balled up his fist and bumped fists with Hutch, "Thanks Douglas." They both watched the dropship floating quietly in front of them, suddenly it ejected a small drone which scanned both of them. The drone flew back as the dropship lowered closer to the ground, "Here we go again" Douglas muttered under his breath. The front door of the ship slowly opened there was a red carpet painted onto the floor, 4 royal guards exited and stood at attention. Douglas turned his back to this whole scene, as Hutch stood wondering what the heck his father could want. Then the emperor came out, slowly walking down the ramp, "Hello my sons, it has been such a long time since we have seen each other, my how you have grown." Hutch yelled "Hello father, it has been many years since you have called for us, is there a reason for this". Rev looked at both his sons, "I have called for you two because I want you to join me."
