Jaina, divine sovereign of the Empyreal Kingdom of Hyria, relies on the protection of her bodyguards more often than she'd like to admit. Selaya has been a devout shield for her for as long as she can remember, the two having grown up together in the palace. While Jaina trained and prepared to step into her role as the leader of her people with the oversight of her mother, Selaya likewise spent many years honing her martial prowess to defend her future queen.
Her garb may be ceremonial in form, it is hardly that in function. The vibroblade she wields is her preferred weapon, though she is equally skilled with all manner of Hyrian weapons, and even some alien ones as well. Whatever star Jaina travels to, Selaya is there, ready to protect her sovereign.
