Aww. I bet what she needs is a friend in there. Maybe not someone hugging her right away, as that might just deepen the uncomfort. But someone who could help her feel more at ease. Trying new things can sometimes be scary. But having someone you can emotionally lean on can really make that sort of thing a lot less daunting, and eventually make it feel more natural and enjoyable.
