It is... very hard coming up with titles sometimes.
Hoppot, the spotted pokemon
Hoppot is a small bug-type pokemon that has recently been sighted in the Osai region. It has a voracious appetite for Berries of all kinds, which makes it a serious pest - efforts of Pokemon Rangers the region over are being dedicated to its exclusion from orchards and farms. Hoppot gets about by hopping, as its name suggests, but it is a fairly proficient climber as well. The cask-like exoskeleton of its midsection provides it with some protection from predators, but it tends to flee rather than fight. Hoppot evolves into Lampot at level 20, or into Waspot if it is levelled up while holding a Suspicious Egg.
Lampot, the spotted pokemon
Lampot is a medium-sized fairy-and-flying type pokemon new to the Osai region. In spite of its charming appearance it is a serious pest of Berry orchards, farms, and vineyards. Trainers risk serious fines and penalties for knowingly releasing them into the wild; conversely some areas hold catching contests for lampots in the hopes of reducing their numbers before they can mate and lay eggs. For their part, lampots are happy-go-lucky and just happy to be around, which makes them easy prey for a lot of predators. Although they have a lantern-like marking on their abdomen they don't actually glow, which is disappointing.
Waspot, the pottery pokemon
Waspot is a small poison-and-flying type pokemon native to the Osai region. It wasn't well-known prior to the arrival of Hoppot and Lampot, but trainers have reported seeing more and more of them in areas where hoppot outbreaks are occurring. They lay their small, special eggs on Hoppots, and use the energy of evolution to hatch and consume the Hoppot, using its sturdy exoskeleton as a suit of armour. Adult Waspot keep a store of eggs in their pots to lay on any Hoppots they find. Lampots, on the other hand, they attack on sight - they seem to have developed a preference for this prey.
