I said everything about his story in the last one, this is when super knuckles, super shadow and super sonic are giving him a hard time and forms into this, not much in appearence but it shortens his life span once he releases this form so only when he is desperate, his skin start to appear more through his fur and his hair changes slightly, also the patterns on his chest change as his power increases for the sacrifice of his life.
