I can speak to the rabbits in lapine! I'll be all like... "Mah non elil!" Which you probably know what that means.

If you go exploring the area you can find just about everything from the book - Nuthanger Farm, the railroad tracks etc...
 AndyFox & myself traced most of the rabbit's journey from Sandleford to The Down. Had difficulty locating Cowslip's warren, though.

What about the place where Hazel's group dug out the Honeycomb? Was that around whatsoever?

Could have been - to be honest I can't really remember. My main memory is of getting to the top of The Down and finding the remains of the tree under which the warren was located. Only the stump remains ( the tree was hit by lightning a few years ago ) and lots of people have carved the various rabbits names into the bark. What the book doesn't mention is that there's a bridalway up there, along with a very high radio mast.

Wow... Now I want to go there even more. Too bad about the tree being struck by lightning. I don't know if I could ever travel there, though. I live clear on the other side of the world.
Huh... iron trees up there, eh? Must have been built after the book was written.

I'm told the area hasn't changed much since the book was written in the early 70s. Yes, it was fun to see it all for real. Never got to Nuthanger Farm, though.

Wow. This place is really beautiful just like the novel/movie/TV described. If I ever to go to UK, this shall be part of my pilgrimage.

Well, if you ever go...
Once you arrive in London's Heathrow Airport....
1) Take Underground to Paddington Station.
2) Buy train ticket to Newbury.
3) Walk down to Newbury bus station.
4) Take number 4 bus to Kingsclere.
5) It's about 40 minutes walk from there to Watership Down.
