I give you my greatest work so far. *bows*

Erebus is a tragic hero, pained over the destruction of his homeland that was once lush, green, and full of life. He fought for many years of his life, even traveling with a group of heroes, The Rising Dawn. They joined together to conquer the evils invading their world, they fought bravely alongside each other, saved many, and even helped soothe Erebus' angry heart.
But yet, none of it was ever enough to grant him the one thing he'd wanted most. To see fields of iris flowers, growing green and alive on the lands of Ascalon. All that remains, and will remain for many lifetimes beyond his own, is ruin, regret, and a wasteland where all the flowers have withered away.

He is old. Tired. And his name that was once great is fading, just like the final few flowers that dared to survive the Searing of the once great kingdom of Ascalon.
