Soooo...since it's Spyro's 25th anniversary around the corner, I decided to spruce up this here!

After Malefor's defeat, Spyro and his newly wed wife Cynder lived their lives peacefully. However, a mysterious presence reached out to Spyro, urging him to return to the Well of Souls. Following the ominous whispers, Spyro was led to the very bottom of the Well, where he would come across a giant pool of liquid Aether, presumably where the body of Malefor had been preserved for the Eternal Night.

"A gift to the worthy..." The whispers spoke.

Anxious at first, Spyro stepped forth into the pool. In doing so, the raw energized Aether surged all across his body, making him swell and grow, his muscles becoming bulkier and defined, one that not even Terrador could match. Spyro's power had grown tenfold...yet his mind and heart remained the same.

Stepping out from the pool, the purple dragon of destiny's glorious new form surged with raw Aether, perfectly balanced in light and dark. From then on out, he was now...a God of Aether.
