Since it was my only piece of homework for Saturday, I took an extra long time on this pencil sketch.

I really love this sketch! I can't think of anything more badass than a dragon in knight's armor! That's pretty much overkill in the coolness factor! They already have a pretty armored hide as it is, and to add more makes them practically invincible!
This picture, along with my Knighted Dragon Table provided the inspiration for my Sabre Dragonknight commission, which is one of my all-time favourites done by you!
I really love all the attention to detail you did on his scales and armor! Drawing all this in may be tedious and time-consuming, but it really is worth it in the end result! All that chainmaille must have taken forever, but it will ensure our dragon champion is properly protected!
I love his intense look of focus and determination as he casts his spell. I love how he's conjured a fiery phoenix in his efforts as well! What a fearsome dragon warrior! He has a sword, he has armor, he can cast spells... what can't he do?
I really love the look of his bumpy armor on him, especially on his thighs. It reminds me of the underbelly of a snake the way it's layered on top of each other. I especially love the small rivets you drew on each armour plate. It's these that sell the fact that this is likely very hard metal he's wearing.
I also love his long, winding, serpentine tail, and broad tailspade, which he could use to lash out and whack foes with! I also love the look of his digitigrade feet and how high he is up on them. All the bends in his legs look totally natural, as does his balance.
This great sketch really deserves a high quality scan and reupload though! Even better would be a full completion with ink and colour, but maybe I'm just being greedy! ^.=.^'
