The Chinese Zodiac is of course very different from the standardized version we know. I wanted to show that the wheels are always turning, constantly moving toward fate, and what better way to pair the zodiac shown on the coin with gears and sprockets.

So i had the steam punk gears and sprockets for a while and i never could quite figure out what to do with them. thanks to a good friend of mine, namely :iconVagabon making me a whole bunch of jump rings at FC, I was able to finally do something with them.
