Within all three of the synthetics, their respective cores got to work, a sound of surprise coming from the protogens as they and the synth all grew at the same time. It only lasted for a few seconds, each stabilizing at their new sizes. Predictably, the hybrid standing close by wasn't affected, having to look up at the trio now as Syko looked over herself.
"Oh! And just like that, we're bigger!" she exclaimed after a moment, even stepping down from the stone platform in only a couple steps instead of the several that it originally took.
"Feeling as natural as breathing." Synal added as a chuckle came from the synth, him and the others making their way to the streets, making sure to not run into any of the street signs or lights. "The cores won't do anything other than have you grow."
"And I guess the city's barren for the most part?" Pral asked this time, glancing upward a bit and lifted a hand to have it brush past a stop light, all too tempted to hook a claw to tear it down yet prevented himself from doing so.
"Had to call in favor of some...friends for it, but yeah" the hybrid spoke up now, having to go at a bit of a jogging pace to keep up "The whole place is empty."

If folks notice any scaling inconsistencies here and in subsequent parts, do know that I'm trying to keep it accurate, especially so with the city that is rather highly outdated and I have nothing else to work with for something like it.

Every even-numbered part, I'll let folks go and pick up to two of them to grow. So keep it in mind as the sequence progresses.
