Hrm. Its not so bad if its just a nude pose. But as soon as it becomes sexually explicit then it shouldn't really be called a pin-up.
With this it was intersting trying to get a 50s era feel to it with the clothes. Hense the great stonking yankie car, it helps too.

I suppose I'm only touchy on the subject because I had to listen to my course tutor rant for half an hour about what is a pin-up and what isn't, not to mention all too often I see someone offer pin-up commissions because they just want to draw boners...
I dunno, I like my pin-up's somewhat classy!

Indeed. Both try and do similar things and both play on the same feelings. One is just much more subtle about it. Pin-ups are one thing and nudes a few steps further along.
