Bit of a personal one this. My long term girlfriend and I experienced something similar to this last year when she was eight weeks into a pregnancy, which was completely unknown to us. Minus the drugs, she had just passed out at work one day when it happened and had been rushed in very quickly. So, this was something that I wanted to put out there as part of Erin's background to emote these feelings. Unlike Diego, I was heartbroken when this happened, but the good news is that we are both exploring options to have a child of our own (I am co-parenting her son).
