Once upon a time, Berry was a normal Gengar, and he was known for being a prankster. He ended up messing with someone who had some beef with him, and ended up being inflicted with a curse. It turned him into a vibrant shade of blue, and made him swell to a more rounded shape to accommodate some blueberry juice in his body. To Berry, it was more of a blessing than a curse, a blurse, if you will. From then on, he learned how his new half-berry body worked, and learned how to possess accessories with blue gemstones. He found a ring to reside in, and it landed in the paws of a blue furred tanuki. To Berry, the tanuki was someone to tease and prank, but to the tanuki, Berry was a free blueberry boyfriend.

Had to make a Gengar OC, the appeal of a blueberry ghost 'mon was too good not to pass up.
