๐ Japanese floral portraits 9 - special order! ๐ชดโฉ๏ธ
In my previous floral compilation post, I mentioned there was one portrait from the same sale that was so complex that it deserved its own post... and here it is!
This was a special slot taken by 
Yoshiku, featuring a lovely couple: Kojikoi, the kitsune, and Moriko, the tanuki! The tree behind them is a special kind of bonsai made into an artwork, called "tanuki bonsai". The trunk features intertwining white and brown wood branches, and I think that represents the couple very well!
It was difficult to render this in the watercolor style, but I'm still very happy with the results and the experience was certainly fun! ๐
