So I have a few of these to share...mostly so you can see the development and progress in terms of designing this character, and his counterpart, and the refining effort. Starting around new year, I joined a DnD group my patreon backers put together headed by DoctorPortal455. It was a western style campaign, more of a RP heavy and less number crunchy kinda thing, and it's furry...so it's the closest to RP :3 I've gotten, or ever intend to get. Basically it was an excuse for me and the other players to use long standing fursonas in a DnD setting without the scorn. Lol.

So here's a more refined pass at Rowan, as well as the first appearance of his long term love interest Dolly. Again, original pairing with a sheep and wolf, and with Rowan taking alot of character notes from Vernon. However, Dolly is a very different sheep compared to Dawn. She's an irish sheep with a hot little temper who's very good at handling herself, especially among the slovenly gentlemen who roll into her father's tavern every so often. When I went into designing her, I imagined her and Rowan seeing each other for the first time since he fled without a word because he was afraid of wrecking her life with his feelings for her. The big dumb wolf kneels and open his arms for a hug as she takes off running toward him. He expects a big hug, and an even bigger kiss..but what he receives is a hard slap across his muzzle for his trouble, as well as a hot little ear full about how he left without a word. She'll chide and scold him, but at the same time she's gripped one of his paws and begins dragging him to her home, complaining that he's not taking care of himself, and he needs a hot meal and a warm bed. She's a tough gal, stubborn too... but real soft deep down. And despite being combative and defiant, her real feelings will still slip out even if delivered with a hard edge. Basically if you've ever seen the movie 'The Quiet Man", Dolly is taking a lot of her design notes from Maureen O'hara.
