So I have a few of these to share...mostly so you can see the development and progress in terms of designing this character, and his counterpart, and the refining effort. Starting around new year, I joined a DnD group my patreon backers put together headed by DoctorPortal455. It was a western style campaign, more of a RP heavy and less number crunchy kinda thing, and it's furry...so it's the closest to RP :3 I've gotten, or ever intend to get. Basically it was an excuse for me and the other players to use long standing fursonas in a DnD setting without the scorn. Lol.

My character, as seen in his very rough concept stages here, was named Rowan James Howell...or R.J. Howell. He's a bounty hunter from a somewhat well known law family with an unrequited love held for a lil' sheep gal he knew from his childhood. Yeah, not exactly the most 'original' character I've made since he's basically a more scruffy, scraggly version of Vernon I suppose...but I love me some Wolf/sheep, big/smol, pred/prey pairings. Guess i'm pretty one note huh? In terms of the design, I was leaning toward influences from the movie Tombstone. And the desire to make everyone kinda scraggly and scruffy and pointy came from a desire to sort of reflect the toll of the blistering environment and time period would have on furry and wooly folk. I wanted it all to feel a little grimy and gritty, but I hadn't gotten the look exactly how I wanted it in this pass. The second set, featuring Dolly will you a better look at what kinda style I was going for.
