Ringo Rasenjou! I never made a proper intro for her here on FA. She was the first character idea for Beast Cross. You *could* call her the "hero" of the story but there's an entire cast with their own motivations, certainly more valid than Ringo's own need to prove to herself how far she's come.

The theme around Ringo's design is "spirals". Her arms and legs act like springs under tension! She can do an explosive dash attack (Rolling Smash) and fire her arms out with flicker jabs (Spring Jab), unleash a nasty corkscrew smash that leaves a twister in it's wake (Cyclone Smash) and even play mind games with her opponent through the combination of her taunt (Wind Up) that reduces the startup of her next special, and a devastating cross counter (Pullback Counter) which uses a deviously similar animation. A fast and tricky rushdown fighter who won't let you get away!

As far as the cast goes, she is THE American character, born and raised in the seaside metropolis of Bristol Bay. But she's also half-Japanese, and visits her grandparents across the pacific every summer.
