Freeform commission for xGalaxyKitten, based on the song "Perfectly Out Of Place" by Dreams We've Had

I was inspired by both the mood and some of the lyrics of this song:

"Sleep tonight and think this through" - quiet, cosy, sleepy atmosphere
"You said, "What's wrong?" and held me" -one person lovingly embracing and comforting another one.
"And as you grasped me tight, I felt like I was in the arms of God" - here I added the "spacey" theme as requested, so the hugger looks like a celestial being

"You're perfectly out of place" - the white figure has dark sparkles and warm colours, while the rest of the canvas (and the hugging figure) is dark, shaded with cool colours and filled with white stars. The white figure might appear "out of place" compared to the rest, but it's the contrast and balancing of their respective colours that makes the drawing.
