how is that working for you? i don't want to declaw mine (if i get any when i move out). only fear i have is the damage to things when they need to rub their claws on stuff. i know about those little gel sheaths you can put over them but that seems like it might be a big hassle to put on some cats. and looks uncomfy.
They haven't ruined anything except for my one (I have three) cat, Tess. Tess claws the corner of the couch because she's a mean bitch XD.
It kinda depends on the cat, I guess. Paws is very good about his claws and rarely scratches us or anything, but Hobbes loves to attack and claw at socks when they're still on your feet. Just make sure you have a scratching post! Kitties love their scratching posts :3
