It seems a burglar attempted to steal the wrong artifact. Laying hands on the carved leech idol has caused the idol's curse to infect the burglar. He is becoming a grotesque leech monster who will be forced to feed on the blood of humans to survive. And this isn't one of those sparkling sexy vampires. He will be a slimy, drooling leech-like vampre forever, with gaping drooling maws on his face and hands.

Is he doomed to become a villain, feeding on the innocent? Or will he lean more toward an anti-hero, feeding on the criminals of society? Only time will tell.
