So, Maid Marian, that one motherly-acting fox from a movie that turns 50 years old later this year. We all remember her fondly, but it's only with the occasional trickle of fanart that we even remember that she exists. She doesn't really stand out among all of the new fuzzy female characters that have come out since then, especially in the last decade. That caused me to envision her as an older "past my prime" vixen who doesn't get as much attention from men as she used to, and any compliment given makes the world to her.
For now this can be treated as a tribute to Disney Robin Hood's 50-year anniversary. It's not truly the anniversary until November 8th, but I'm sure there'll be a whole explosion of Maid Marian around then. Maybe I'll draw some more of her for that too. Time will tell.
