So because they failed their initial awareness rolls, neither Rebecca nor Malcolm were able to get their little article of clothing that says what team they're on. Those probably both fell off when they were in their respective cars. As such they don't know what team they're on yet and next page will show just how they're able to assign them to the correct team even without that issue.
