Often the visions of the character for the Author and the Customer are different. I often offer my own ideas for character formation, but the main choice is up to the customer.
Sometimes it's hard for me to follow the strict ideas of customers and I need something for myself. Then I draw my world. But... I find it difficult to draw for myself. Also my characters and world are of no interest to anyone. I won't get feedback.
Another solution comes to the rescue - I sometimes draw random characters with the permission of their owner on my vision. I edit them anatomy, add details, give a fresh look. Such redesigns are a relief for me and an ideological inspiration for the owner of the character. The difference between a commission and a redesign - you can't ask me to fix something. This is a gift. You can accept or forget about it.
