Don't see a lot of kangaroos (though I have seen the ocasional "pouch vore" or "pouch trapping"). And thank you for doing that correctly. I can't tell you the number of times in cartoons where I've seen the kangaroo punsh someone out with their hands. Like here, they use their tail for balance and kick with both legs. The hands behind the back is a nice touch. That and the "doof".

I believe that comes from a misinterpretation of the term "Kangaroo kickboxing". In human kickboxing one can still use their hands I believe, but it means something completely different when refering to kangaroos.
