Yeah, Cassie is a real sneak sometimes. She's almost too smart for her own good. She answers to both "Cassie" AND "bitch". *LOL*

We think Lobo might actually have some wolf in them. They're from out in the woods up near Ely, Minnesota, so I mean there are wolves all over the damn place and these dogs are outside all the time. Many sled dog yards have wolf mixed in simply by proxy. ;3

As far as I recall, husky's have blue eyes by default. The golden brown eyes kinda give it away, plus something in the facial expression or markings make him look lupine. Both of them actually. Just an observation...

Actually Siberian Huskies are the only AKC breed which can have a brown and a blue eye, and both brown and blue eyes are acceptable, in case you're interested in knowing. But our dogs aren't AKC anyway, and we don't care what they think either way. *chuckles*

**smiles** I've learned through studying animals to identify certain characteristics per breed. However, I generally don't really care about AKC Standards since I never learned to identify breeds that way (but it's nice tidbits to know anyways). **winks** A beautiful dog is still a beautiful dog, no matter what their breeding is. And your pair are certainly beautiful. **grins**

They're sled dogs, born and bred. :) Technically Alaskan Huskies, which means mixed. It's just the fancy term for sled dogs. Lobo is more malamute, and Cassy is more siberian. Our third dog doesn't look like them at all actually, he has some greyhound, german sheperd, some husky in there somewhere. But he's still an "Alaskan Husky". So there are different kinds of "huskies"... these two look sorta AKC type, but they're not. :) Does that answer your question?
