I apologize if this sounds inappropriate, but I'm confused by her shoes. Are her toes comfortable to walk in? I think shoes with separate toes would be better (although I can imagine how it's a pain in the ass to draw them that way ._ .).

Ah her toes are very flexible with loose joints, so squeezing them into a shoe is like us wearing a mitten. ^^

Yee! It's called a Zarsirri, usually takes some inspiration from the deity of the one wearing it and the natural aspect they represent. They are stained inks, have to be remade with every shedding - happens once or twice a year ^^

Oh thats pretty neat, does she ever play with the design a little bit after shedding? Or keep it more or less the same each time? If its based on insperation from a deity im guessing the designs are not set in stone and allow for some creativity?

Id imagine more rebellious members of her species use all that frill space for all the different designs and colors to show different organizations or groups they are a part of. And I love how they go up at excitement and down with 'ugh'. Extra emotions always \o/
