First oc for my fantasy setting based not on a fairy tale, but instead on a myth, namely the one of the Minotaur. Adopt I got by TilleR on YCH.commishes.
Name: Cowleen Taureau
Age: 50
Species: Minotaur
Birthplace: Barrows of La Flamme
Height: 7,21 feet or 2,20 meters
Vore Role: Pred
Personality: Being able to understand the emotions of Cowleen is quite the titanic feat: the Minotaur lady, most of the time, looks stoic and inexpressive, a serious look always stuck on her face that makes really difficult to understand what she feels by just watching her. A trait, this, helped by the long fringe of her hair, always covering her emerald green eyes, and helping in this mysterious look she has... not that she wants to hide anything. As an ex-general of the army of Breata, Cowleen learned that showing her emotions could lead to her doom in battle, and so, out of habit, she does that constantly even if retired, not being able to express her feeling well, after such a long time.
After helping her king to reclaim his throne from the Golden Prince, the ex-general retired from her role, and in her dismissal she opened quite the particular tavern. "The Labyrinth", as she named her business, reflects quite well the personality of its own owner: on a side, Cowleen is a quiet lady, enjoying peace and relax, like the one in the main face of her inn, entertaining herself with the lively revelry of her customers, loving the fact that she can rest after years of fighting... but on the other side she's all in for battles. In the back of the Labyrinth, authorized by her king, the Minotaur lady hosts a fight club: a place where the fighters of the kingdom can enjoy the thrill of battle and prove themselves, in tournaments that the host organizes regularly. Cowleen doesn't take part in those, but knows very well that the kind of fights in her ring aren't for anyone, and so she tests whoever wants to try to enter, to see if the challenger before her can go without the risk of being killed: a match of arm wrestling with her, in which if her opponent is able to resist for seven minutes, or more unlikely beat her, she'll accept the enrolment to her tournaments, refusing whoever fails, not wanting to have dead people on her conscience for useless reasons. Only if a fight in one of her tournaments is very interesting to her, or if an opponent in the challenges of arm wrestling is skilled enough to stand up to her, is possible to see Cowleen truly and heartily smile, relishing the thrill of battle.
Considering how hard she had to work to get where she is now, the Minotaur lady values a lot hard work and the results of it, and instead judges badly who gets to their goal with shortcuts or similar, as for her reaching something with little ways isn't worth at all.
Under such a tough armor the ex-general has soft sides too. First and most important, is her bond with Morpheus Cyanfae, son of a deceased friend of Cowleen: after the mother of Morpheus was killed by the infamous Big Bad Wolf, and the Kingdom of Breata returned under its rightful monarch, the ex-general took the fairy boy with herself. The Minotaur lady welcomed the young boy in her own house, acting for him basically as a second mother: she's gente and caring with him, giving him advice and guidance, as well as scolding him if does something wrong; she really loves to have Morpheus around, and in memory of her friend she wants to give to the fairy boy all the best possibilities she can in life.
Other than this a "weak point" of Cowleen, if we can call il like that, is her reaction to compliments towards her womanhood: she has always been gratified about her strength and abilities in battle, and very rarely about anything else... and so if someone praises her about how she can be attractive, or about how beautiful her feminine traits can be, well, she totally melts. The people who know this trait of her can be counted on the fingers on one hand, namely only her king and Morpheus, and she prefers to keep that as a secret, not wanting people to use that fact to cheat their way in her tournaments.
Seeing Cowleen enraged is a very rare occurrence, but if she's angry whoever made her mad will be in a very big trouble: whoever does that will have just a ferocious look from her, before che starts using her hands; as she's able to knock out people double her size with just a single punch, making her mad is quite the bad choice... creating havoc in her inn or hurting Morpheus being the top places of things she can be angry about.
Being an ex-member of the army, she really hates criminals, not wanting to have them in her tavern, and if someone with a bounty gets in, she'll be more than eager to kick them out, or instead to knock them out to get their bounty... another way to serve her country and make it a safer place.
On a vore side, she's not quite the willing pred: first of all she would hate the thought of having a prey ruining her line, and second, the taste of meat is not her thing. If she can avoid it, she'll always try to not eat whoever is with her, even if there is some cases in which she is forced to, by the situation of by her own emotional transport. If she has to protect Morpheus, and there is no other way, she'll swallow him to use her own body as a shield for the fairy boy; otherwise, if someone made her angry, but very VERY angry, she'll use that way to actually scare whoever made her mad to the point they won't ever do that again... or if the prey is a very serious threat, she'll go on and digest 'em, even if she hates even the idea of doing such a thing.
Abilities: Becoming the general of an army is no easy feat, and Cowleen didn't arrive at that level with any shortcut: not having even a single drop of mana in her body, and so having magic precluded to her, the Minotaur lady had to rely on her body alone. She tempered her physic in years and years of training, growing to have herculean strength: she can easily beat with a single punch beings twice her size and muscles, in a way to compensate her total lack of magic abilities. Cowleen doesn't use any weapon at all, as she finds that those limit her own movements, and so when she fights she resorts only to hand-to-hand combat, with wrestling-like moves.
Her skin and muscles are so tough that bladed weapons hardly cut through her, so much that if someone wants to fight her, they'll surely have to use magic to even stand a chance.
