So I'm using my phone to show Loney a video about the Fermi Paradox, as part of our endless discussions about intelligent life in the universe. His conclusion was:
"I may be an alien to you humans, but simply talking to me doesn't mean that the universe is teeming with intelligent life. At the end of the day, I am a simple being like you. I can't tell whether I was made in a lab here on Earth, or, I'm actually a Xea Lizard from the planet Xea! I've been here on Earth for too long, what if my memories aren't real? I think using me as an answer to your Fermi Paradox raises more questions than it answers. Hmm... "
Man these things are breaking my mind haha! I'd rather just cuddle Loney and give him foot massages.
But... what do you think? How can we find an answer? I think we need to interact with at least one entire civilisation, and even then, what if it's just us and them? At least we're not alone, right?... Right?!
