I recently made a character for a Sci-fi setting and decided to draw some concepts of them.
This is Justice Vin! They used to work as an on-planet cave delver for a mining company, though after a bad cave in accident they had lost their entire body below the waist.
Thankfully due to cool future sci-fi tech, they were able to survive.
The company offered to pay off their medical expenses and provide prosthesis. In return, they'll be working in the cargo bay of the station for another 10 years. Better than getting a nasty medical bill!
Plus, they'll get to keep *all* the prosthetics once they're done. Even the very big, very expensive company issue ones.
