I rarely draw my own sona, so I'm about to change that this year! For the time being, I'm mostly going to get a bunch of concept sketches down (just like Yoji Shinkawa's own Metal Gear studio work!). One major change I've been wanting to make for a while now is morph ball capabilities. It's too cool not to have so I've been doing a little bit of sketching to figure out how it might work with a protogen, and this is a little of what I've come up with. No colour or other major appearance changes so far. I do, however, think I should change his name to Tempo. His real name is Feo but my own furry alias "Tempo" sort of stuck to him accidentally

This should be great experience and practice for my own "A Final Fantasy Story" project where I should honestly be drawing concept sketches like this instead of doing finished artwork hahaha. So you can expect those in the near future :3

Speaking of which, from now on I'll probably put those concept sketches in my Scraps folder so that it doesn't clog my gallery. If any sketches do turn out pretty artsy-looking then sure I'll leave it in my main gallery. I already have a few to be uploaded, but I'll space them out - I prefer consistency over bulk, infrequent uploads

p.s. I'm not drawing a ref sheet for my own sona lmao. I don't have the precision nor the patience for that (I don't even like doing clean line work), so I'll be sticking to using several pages of rough concept work hahaha XD
