This page feels pretty modern to me, though much less bombastic than I'd do right now. It's interesting seeing myself learning to draw comics. For as much as I draw them, I actually didn't grow getting to read them (kind of couldn't for reasons of poverty, living in lots of small towns before graphic novels were really available in libraries, the whole being blind thing) so just figuring out things like layouts and panel borders was interesting. This was also before I learned how to do thumbnails and planning ahead haha, so each page was just getting made as I thought it up. Talk about doing things the hard way!
