Honestly, the post office is fuxxed. I mailed a commission to a client 2 weeks before he needed it in-paw to give to his friend- it didn't get there until another two weeks after that, so it'd taken about a whole month. That's ridiculous- so now, when I get commissions I either buy insurance or delivery confirmation- it depends on how expensive the commission was. If it was over 30, I get insurance just in case. They DO pay you back for the estimated value of the pieces contained, but if it's "lost" mail you have to wait like, 3 months... but it's better than losing your ass completely.

The post office here is really messed up, too. We had our phone shut off a few times when we first got here, because they just weren't delivering our bills.
