Okay, I'm already helplessly behind on post processing. :P
Four photoshoots yesterday. Should have been three, but I got a little frustrated when the whole class went out at night and gave up pretty early. When the class settled in the bar later at about 9p, I got back in my snow gear and went out again. Didn't get to bed until almost 1a. Ended up skipping the sunrise shoot this morning. Heh. I remember in Hawaii also skipping one of the sunrise shoots. I guess it's how I roll.
This was earlier in the day. This is a panorama stitch, made from 40 input images. 39 for the original stitch, 1 more to put in the jet contrail. There had been a jet contrail there (-ish), but it got curved in the pano stitch so I opted to replace it with one that was straight.
Oh yeah, I was also shooting in Infrared. Shot a ton of infrared yesterday. More will probably come soon. You know, I'm in Yosemite. Shooting El Cap. In homage in Ansel Adams, infrared for the win.

Probably the wide angle. Polarizers always do weird things to an astrally-illuminated sky if the angle is wide. The angle from the shot to the light source (sun/moon) will change how strongly the polarizer effects the shot. I have a shot where I took advantage of that and a portion of the sky is super bright white while another is pitch black in a constant gradient. Youre SUPPOSED to only use a polarizer when the focal length is greater than 24mm (1.5x) if I remember correctly.
