The General kept his promise in freeing her and from then on she gave him her loyalty to his new army. Over time they began to bond and exchange tactics and new strategies together. He never looked at her as a possible mate, he was even disgusted by the idea due to his race looking down on such a pairing. She earned her place after one particular duel which challenged the both of them and she came out on top, the first time she had completely beat him in skill and stamina.
