So for a while now since I started using Blender I wanted these two models. When I found them available, upon opening them up I saw that the armature bones were...scattered. Nothing looked aligned and it was so cluttered. It literally scared me and I promptly deleted both and tried to find alternative models but to no avail. That was when I first started. Yesterday, I decided to go back to these two and I realized something. Sure, the bones were scattered but they still functioned in moving certain parts of the characters. With the experience I gotten from dinking around Blender, I ended up fixing all the bones, aligning them back to their proper place. In addition to that, I also created new eye mesh since the old ones were to bulged out or too flat. For Bobby, I went the extra mile and made a custom eye texture since the old one looked weird. For Polar, I separated the helmet and eyepatch to be interchangeable.
So I'm very happy with how they came out. As for why the bones were the way they were, I guess its because the person who made these available simply converted the models and left the bones as they were. Now that I have these fixed versions, I can definitely play around with these. Maybe even add small accessories and such. Who knows.
Also, here's the link to the models that I downloaded from:

I wrote it in my journal but to shorten the explanation: I was having difficulties with a platform to upload the animation since Twitter has a cap in both size and length. Also, what was intended to be a short animation was turning into a long movie. I only had about half done and it was 4 to 5 minutes long. I was making myself exhausted and it sort of took a toll on me mentally so I decided to shelve it for the time being.
