At the dawn of the New Age, and the passing of his Father, Emperor Gallus Iuxum Regulus III decreed that the age of the Gods was over. He commanded the Temples be sacked and desecrated. In a move too swift to have been a flight of fancy, the military arm of the Empire descended upon the Temples to carry out his decree. Many Temple priestesses were executed and those who escaped roamed the Wastes for what remained of their lives. In time their faith and creed would all be forgotten. Truths would fade into mythos, to be whispered in dark tavern corners and as cautionary tales to the young.
So it was for a time. The Temples gone, and the Daughters scattered. They all but faded from the empire's memory.
That was, until she returned.
Decided to reconfigure the image so it was more focused on her instead of what I had going the last time. Think it works better!
