I barely socialized with her, but I just loved her and her art. Normally Renamon is considered to be overdrawn and cliche'd a bit, but the way she did the character was as if it was brand new. All if her artwork gave off such a warm, comforting and radiant vibe that was just so lively. She reminded us all of what we are as a fandom: not a fetish nor hobby, but a Nakama, a family bound by spirit, not by blood.
She also reminded us of how we can seamlessly mix childhood imagination and optimism in with adulthood dreams and fantasies. We must remember what she has taught us all.
May her spirit guide us like a guardian Kami into 2011 together....

Which actually can be an early symptom, and is a big reason Leukemia can be so hard to diagnose. You pretty well have to be looking for it to see it at an early stage like that. She was diagnosed with Leukemia after her last journal was posted.

the time we gazed with minds unbound

knowing that you never said goodbye
for you once told me to look to the sky
for the sky is endless and full of life
in the everlasting sun
it's bad I know but from what I have read hear you all loved this person very much and I thank you on her part for I may not know her but I know she looks down and sees that you remember her for now and forever
