Cobalt's ears twitched at the sudden throbbing sensation atop his forehead. At first he dismissed it as a symptom of fatigue from his recent sleepless nights of self-reflection. But soon strange feelings were felt all over his blue-furred body, and being the transformation buff that he was, he jumped straight to the correct conclusion:

Change was coming.

After years of being a blue cat/lion, I've finally decided to change things up and go with a more personalized, customized avatar. Cats are awesome, of course, but lately I've had the urge to let a bit more of myself show through in my fursona. And how better to enact the change than through a TF sequence?

I've always had an aversion to featuring myself in TF art. There was something off-putting in making it too connected to me personally. But lately I've wondered if that was actually detrimental to my development as a TF artist, and as a storyteller and person in general. It might be a gross overanalysis of a simple interest in TF art, but I felt it would be freeing to make myself (or at least my furry internet proejction of myself) the subject of a TF between the two animal types I love the most.
