It's called a Lalliga! Household domestic animal similar to a cat. In the Heartland they're mostly kept for the utilitarian purpose of catching pests, but in Duhr they're often more of a companion animal.

I like how the illustration on the wall basically says the same thing you said in the description, but just using pictures instead of words. Their hat is absolutely ballin', but how does the hat stay on? Hats are notoriously difficult for non human heads, after all!

Haha, that's fair, I've been trying to figure out a reasonably easy and reliable way to put hats on lizard heads, but there always seems to have to be a strap or something to keep it secured. Not nearly as elegant as plopping a headpiece on your head as a regular normie human.
