Here's part of what I've been working on for the past three months. It's the first of a series of 5 illustrations for a story by Mr. E.O. Costello, for his "Felis Ex Machina" story featured on the Spontoon Island website. Here, the showboat bearing "Marder's Minstrels" arrives at the Island, bearing the seagoing entertainment troupe and their newest attraction.

(Shuffles feet.) Several I should say. The Jeremayah O'Brian Restored Liberty ship, The S.S. Lane Victory a restored Victory ship, The S.S. Catalina when I was a child, The Ranel II, and my friend Jim's own steamboat the S.Y "Pugnacious." ("Puggy" for short.) I'm shooting to someday get to Scotland and ride the P.S. Waiverly. One of the last ocean going paddle steamers.
