Heh, Beast Machines was wierd. Waspinator got cool, Rinox got peeved and Silverbolt had a hair up his arse about everythig.

Its really cool that you payed more attention to the look of the toys, and included the non-show vehicons. They were some of the better looking toys from that line

As i sayd to a friend, Models and toys are the best source for mechanical design, because they have details which can't be seen in modelsheets and in the shots ^^... As the mecha fan i am, ovvious watch on this ;) :D:D !!!

Oh man! Look at all the cool coloring and texturing. I recognize a few of the "Models, but there's a few that mystify me. This is a definate "Saver" image.

That would be Megatron after he purged himself of his organic beast elements. The giant head transforms into a battle cruiser.

Oddly, I think the villains felt more like traditional Transformers than the heroes in the series did.

Man does this take me back.. I still remember watching every episode and making sure I was there to get every single one of them on Tape..

WHat a great pic to model one of the most interesting and probably bizzare chapters in the Transformers mythology. I still think that's the official end of it all.

I think some time ago I wiki'd it in a nostalgia fit, and found that there were 4 series relating to Beast wars, but only 2 were shown in the states. Japan had all 4 however.

As far as i know from the bot freaks I know, beast wars (all 4) is the end or something like that, like you said. I think it was explained to me that theyre the most advanced transformers, made later etc etc.

Anyways to sum up, i think youre right.

I hated beast machines. when i was little i absolutely loved Beast Wars. Then Rhinox is evil, more silverbolt emoness, waspinators back. It just sort of killed it for me.

Awesome pic! There is so much going on, the detail is terrific.

That always kind of erked me that they never used the expanded drone sets in the actual series. There were a lot of interesting ideas that came out of the toys in my opinion. And even when they reused the molds, it was for a series that got no cartoon series for it.

This is awesome looking even tho I was born after Beast Wars and Beast Machines, I still liked the concept of animal transformers
